Hello from Wales! Just thought I’d drop in and say hello, and share a couple of projects.
Our Secret Sister program is coming to an end, so all participants are now learning the identity of their mystery pen-pals. I have been sending to Lisa, a lovely demo in NSW. The projects above were part of last month’s goodie bag I made for Lisa, and include the watercolour roses that Patty Bennet shared on her blog. Hmm, I think this might be a fun project for this month’s Stamp Club technique.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this colour combo of Elegant Eggplant, Almost Amethyst and just a touch of Mellow Moss. One of my team members suggested this combo recently (thanks Maureen!) and I’ve been hooked ever since.
I’ve enjoyed sending Lisa cards and goodies over the past 3 months, and now I’m looking forward to finding out who has been sending to me so I can thank her properly!
We are having a lovely time visiting family and friends here in the UK and doing a touch of sightseeing.

We’ve spent most of our time in the Rhondda Valley in south Wales, going for lovely walks and enjoying the amazing views.
We also ducked over to England a couple of times and were lucky enough to stay with friends in the stunning Cotswolds region (with a trip to Oxford), and also returned to the beautiful fenlands of Suffolk and Norfolk in the east – DH and I haven’t been there in over a decade. A highlight was introducing our children to their cousins for the first time.
Today we had lots of fun at Legoland before returning once again to Wales.

It looks like my scheduled posts haven’t been working, so I’ll try to fix that up.
Don’t forgot the free ribbon promotion ends on 30th September. There’s still time to get your last minute orders in by emailing me. Your goodies will be sent from the warehouse straight to your door. Also, stay tuned for a great October promotion which I’ll be announcing shortly.
Bye for now,

When this post is published I’ll be on the other side of the world visiting rellies and friends in the UK! Don’t you just love modern technology?! I’ve set up a few scheduled posts like this one, but will also be on with some ‘live’ posts too.

I recently came across a pile of cards I made just after joining Stampin’ Up! as a demonstrator. For a long time I had very limited supplies and very limited knowledge! But I vividly remember having soooo much fun, and learning more with each card.

This week marks my 2nd anniversary of joining Stampin’ Up! as a demo. What an amazing ride!
I really enjoy what I’m doing, and love the new friendships that I’ve made with team members and my very special customers. It has also become a profitable part-time job, which I certainly never planned on when I joined. My style and tastes have changed, as you can probably tell from these cards *wink* but I still love creating with paper, ink and glue!
In a few weeks many of the Victorian demonstrators will be gathering in Melbourne for our annual regional training day (yes, we stamp together!!). I’m so looking forward to catching up with some of the girls in my team.
If you’ve thought about taking your papercraft hobby to the next level and want to know a little more about becoming a demonstrator and the benefits of joining my team, just send me an email and I’ll get an info pack posted out to you.
Happy stamping,

Just a quick one tonight. I wanted to share a couple of cards we made at stamp club today. They were inspired by an article in this month’s issue of Australian Cardmaking Stamping & Papercraft, Vol 15 No 4, and a great collection of 10 Quick Cards designed by Shelly Stakis.

These cards feature the Upsy Daisy stamp set and co-ordinating Urban Garden DSP (designer series paper) – they are just made for each other! Colours used are Not Quite Navy, Kiwi Kiss, and a hint of Baja Breeze.
By the way, it’s good to be back and blogging again. My computer had a total meltdown this week so I’m now back online with a brand new hard disk drive. Amazingly we were able to save all files but I lost every one of my bookmarks. Still, I’m not complaining. It could have been a lot worse!
Now I’m off to finish packing. We’re going on a little trip but I’ll be posting as usual – I’ve got a big backlog of projects to share with you. Hey I might even throw in the odd holiday snap!
Happy stamping,
