CASE-ing the Catty Sunday Blog Hop

The theme for our CTC Blog Hop this week is Sale-a-bration! I decided to CASE (Copy and Share Everything) a card on the front cover of the Sale-a-bration brochure. You can’t miss it – it’s the one with the heart. Very appropriate for today and Valentine’s day, don’t you think?

Here is the original version:

You're So Nice - card from the cover of the Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration brochure 2016

And here’s mine!

CTC66: You're Lovely. For the CASE-ing the Catty Sale-a-bration blog hop. This card uses some of the acetate cards from the Memories in the Making Project Life specialty card collection. Created by Simone Bartrum.

I used the Memories in the Making Project Life Specialty Card Collection, just as in the original.

The heart and the red dots are in fact two different acetate sheets!

Those printed acetate sheets, a half-sheet of Night of Navy cardstock, a stamped greeting and some embellishments are all you need to make this card.

I love this Project Life card collection – so handy for card making, scrapbooking, as dashboards in your planner, and of course in your Project Life albums too.

And best of all, the whole card collection is free with any purchase of $90 or more before the end of March.

Here’s a 4 minute video that shows you all the cards in the set and a few tips on how to use them.

The acetate layers were adhered to the card base with some carefully positioned glue dots behind the red dots on the acetate and a few candy dots.

Your card looks very dramatic, and I think its so funny because I hadn’t noticed the cover cards till you pointed them out!

wow that background is just so striking with the night of navy and the layering of the sheet. I also like the feature you did with the thin twine.

AMAZING, Your card is a great colour combo and I’m so pleased to have someone show me how to use those PL cards! I think I’m going to know what to do with them when I order, but then i get them and haven’t go any clues, so this is fabulous thanks.
