CTC 144: Stampin’ Up! Quilted Christmas

Published by under cards | Sep 03 2017

Stampin' Up!'s Quilted Christmas

Welcome back to the CASEing The Catty blog hop. This week we jump in to the brand new Holiday Catalogue – to pages 4-9. This section features the Quilted Christmas suite, the Ready For Christmas bundle (which I’ve already shared a fair bit of in recent weeks), plus three other lovely watercolour-y stamp sets.

Quilted Christmas Suite

I loved the featured picture on page 4 (as above) with the lovely Christmas Quilt stamp set, Quilt Builder Framelits dies and all the other delicious embellishments that coordinate so beautifully.

These were the three projects I created:

Quilt Builder Framelits dies

The Quilt Builder Framelits dies includes 15 dies but I think my favourite is this adorable ribbon spool which is just perfect for wrapping a little twine around it.

Mini Pizza Boxes

The Mini Pizza Boxes in the new holiday catalogue have quickly become a favourite.

My project is very much inspired by the one on page 4.

Mini Treat Bag

The cardstock bag on page 4 was the inspiration for the next project, although at first glance they don’t look like they have much in common.

The Mini Treat Bag thinlits dies and Quilted Christmas Designer Series Paper proved to be a great combination for a gift bag.

This paper stack comes in a very handy 6″x6″ size, so it’s perfect for die cutting through the Big Shot.

The Quilt Top embossing folder is lovely addition to the suite.

I embossed a panel of Designer Series Paper and also a piece of Vellum cardstock which adds interest to the front panel.

I LOVE embossing vellum!

This is such a cool technique.

So there you go. I hope you enjoyed my Quilted Christmas projects this week, but you will find even more of it to inspire you over at Liz’s blog.

We’d also love you to join in! Create a project inspired by this same section of the 2017 Stampin’ Up!® Holiday Catalogue, and share it over on our CASEing The Catty Facebook Group. It’s heaps of fun. I’m sure you’ll find plenty there to inspire you because the projects shared in the group are absolutely gorgeous. See you there!

Happy stamping,

Simone Bartrum, Stampin' Up! demonstrator Australia, Victoria
