About Me

Welcome!
My name is Simone, and I live in the goldfields of regional Victoria. I’ve been a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator here in Australia for more than 18 years.
When I first started, my three children were just toddlers, and those first few cardmaking classes I taught were with the playgroup mums. Now they’re all grown up. Time certainly moves quickly.

In The Beginning
Where did it all begin? In 2007 I went to a cardmaking workshop at my sister’s house. I had never picked up a stamp before and had lots of preconceived ideas about what rubber stamps could – and couldn’t – do.
I soon discovered that paper crafting is incredibly versatile, enjoyable and practical. And just a tiny bit addictive. In a world where we’re always rushing, it’s lovely to switch off for a while and get into the flow of creativity.
After that first ‘crafternoon’ I was hooked. It wasn’t long before I joined as a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, mainly so I could buy my own supplies at a discount.
Stampin’ Up! Makes It Easy

I love having a hobby and creative outlet, and stamping is perfect for that.
What I love most is how everything is coordinated. The colours, the stamps, the papers, the embellishments – it all works together beautifully. It means you can enjoy the creative process without the stress of trying to match everything yourself.
And the paper crafting community is wonderfully generous. CASEing (Copy and Share Everything, with credit of course) is happily embraced, and with resources like Pinterest and YouTube, it’s never hard to find ideas.

Unexpected Rewards
One of the loveliest surprises was discovering the wider crafting community. I’ve met so many wonderful people since I joined. Customers, fellow demonstrators and new team members quickly became friends.
In my first year I welcomed eight demonstrators directly to my team, and many more have joined since then. I still can’t quite believe there are around 150 of us across the whole team today. I love being the cheerleader and mentor of the gorgeous EurekaStampers.
Over the years I’ve been honoured to receive various sales, team building and leadership recognition, including Top 2 for Leadership for three years, and places within the Top 25 Demonstrators of the Year and Top 10 in Australia..

It’s In Your Hands
I’m grateful to have earned all-expenses-paid Incentive Trips to Disneyworld, the Greek Isles, Alaska, Thailand, Europe, Hawaii, the Caribbean, Utah, Broome, Fiji and Hamilton Island. These opportunities have come from a mix of personal dedication, a wonderful team, and loyal customers.
I now view this as more than a hobby. It’s something I’m passionate about, and it continues to be a meaningful part of my life.
Each demonstrator in our team has their own reasons for joining Stampin’ Up! – for many it’s simply to save money on their craft purchases, and others enjoy earning a modest supplemental income by sharing creativity with friends, family and customers.
Regardless of the type of demonstrator we are, we all enjoy inspiring each other through our team forum, group swaps and team gatherings. OnStage training days, stamping get-togethers and virtual events are some of the most fun because they combine crafting and connection. What more could you ask for?
