Budget Christmas Gifts to Make #1
Wouldn’t this make a fun festive gift? I love how we can dress up a packet of Jaffas and a re-purposed jam jar, and turn it into a cute gift.
All we need is a a little creative ‘elbow grease’, some basic craft supplies and our imagination.
How To:
1. Find a recycled decorative jar and make sure it’s really clean. Sauce or jam jars work well.
2. Wrap one of the Snow Festival Designer Printed tags (p12 Australian Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalogue) around the front, and adhere with Sticky Strip or other strong adhesive.
3. Fill contents and replace lid. Tip: Don’t have a lid? Cover with foil or cling wrap and secure with a rubber band.
4. Cover the top with fabric. I used the Scallop Circle Bigz die (p193 Annual Catalogue) to die cut Old Olive fabric from the Essentials Designer Fabric range (p170).
5. Embellish! Hand write your message on the tag (or stamp and punch as I did in the sample above), and dress it up as desired. This is the fun part so let your creativity loose and see what you end up with!

This project was inspired by a Product Share that I offered last month’s Newsletter Subscribers. I spent some time this week cutting and packaging our shares, which included many of the products you can see in the Sweets Jar project. Soooo fun, and it made this project so easy and budget-friendly to put together!

Happy stamping,
