Candy Cane Lane
The project that caught my eye this week was the one on the bottom of page 4: the Quick & Easy seasonal tags.
I took a little bit of artistic license with my interpretation this week. I converted the Candy Cane Lane DSP tags to note cards and stepped them up by adding a few extra elements. I swapped the stamp set too.
And this is what I came up with:
The Layering Circle framelits came into their own in this project. I just adore those delicate scallop edges on some of the framelits, and the convenience of having so many different sizes in one pack.

To have a separate handheld punch in each of these sizes would cost hundreds of dollars! Thankfully we’ve now got the cost-effective and space-saving alternative of layering circle framelits.
The Candy Cane Lane papers feature cute little houses, delicate dots, little gingerbread, hearts, candy and more. A lovely Christmas paper if you want an alternative to the traditional reds and greens.
It’s now time to continue on to the hop. Next port of call is the lovely Rebecca. Click here to see what she has for us this week, or click on the buttons below.
Happy stamping,
These are lovely, Simone. This DSP is so striking & you’ve used it perfectly to showcase just how awesome it is. Your set of cards would make a great gift.
Simone what great note cards, such a good idea if you need to make lots of cards at Christmas, I love those layering circle framelits!
What a great project from the note tag idea. I love your CASE. And it shows off the DSP so well.
Great CASE this week Simone! Lovely to see the cute little tags made into a cool set of cards.
Oh how lovely!! I love the layering circles framelits too, especially the tiny scallops.
Simone I love these! You have shown off the DSP so well, and your layering circles look so striking with that stamp set. Great CASE
How inspired Simone to tranform tags to card – they are simple & elegant with the DSP singing out! Great card set! Kelly x
Love your set of note cards, Simone. They really show off the DSP and I love the Merriest wishes greetings with it. Great CASE of the tags.
