CTC131: Everyday Occasions
Welcome to this week’s CASEing the Catty blog hop.
Every Sunday night at 7pm AEST, the CTC Crew share great ideas from the latest Stampin’ Up! Catalogues. We either directly CASE (Copy and Share Everything) a project in the catalogue, or we use an aspect like a layout or colour combo as inspiration for our own creations.
This week, we are sharing our projects inspired by the Everyday Occasions section of the brand new annual catalogue, pages 18-67.

Come and join us! Make your own project and share it in the CASEing the Catty Sunday Challenge Facebook Group.
Welcome to the first CTC Challenge of the NEW catalogue.
I’ve missed playing along lately, but it’s been a rather busy few weeks to say the least. We had the Shepparton CraftAlive expo, launch of the new catalogue, and some extra special excitement (which can read about on my Facebook page).
The Everyday Occasions section is very big, so it wasn’t easy to narrow it down but I really wanted to share with you my take on the Label Me Pretty tags that you can see on the top of page 27.

What a fabulous bundle to make awesome tags for all different occasions.
I loved the cute size so took inspiration from the layered labels, switched out the colours and made mini 3″x3″ note cards.
The tag on the daisy vase is a closer match to the tags on page 27. The tag was one of the free make & tags that Erin Zobec (a fabulous Stampin’ Up! demonstrator from the Shepparton region) and I did at CraftAlive recently, so I had to pop that in the photo too. I’ll talk more about the daisies in a future post.
I’m really REALLY loving the new In Colours which will be around from now and for the next TWO years! They look amazing together but also when paired with many of the core Stampin’ Up! colours.

I love how the 3×3 note cards fit in the Wood Crate framelits. These would make a cute little gift.

Let’s continue around the hop now and see what my fabulous friend Mel has in store for us.
Happy stamping,
