If you've been studying the Christmas holiday catalogue as much as I have, these snowflake cards might look familiar!
Hint: Check out page 14 of the Christmas catalogue.
These were one of the fun projects we made at a Stampin'Up! party on the weekend.

Love that silver Glimmer Paper! Soooo sparkly.
I modified my version a little (as we do!) by using the Confetti stamp set in the background and also adding a touch of Dazzling Details. The Festival of Prints DSP stack is AWESOME if you have a Big Shot… just tear off a sheet and pop it straight onto your die. At 4 1/2" x 6 1/2" inches (11.4cm x 16.5cm) each page, they are the PERFECT size for die-cutting on the run, as a photo mat for scrapbooking, cardfront embellishment and other kinds of papery goodness. Very cool.

Full free downloadable instructions for this Snowflake card are in this month's newsletter.

Only a few more sleeps until Christmas!
Wishing all my blog friends a few quiet moments to stop and enjoy this special time. It's so easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle as we try to knock things off our To Do list, but the beauty really is in the quiet moments.
For me, there's nothing quite like Christmas lights at nights, kinder ornaments hanging on the tree, homemade bikkies from friends, and hearing so many excited shrieks in the morning as the kids check their Advent Calendar pockets. Talk of Santa, finishing school, getting ready for our beach holiday, making plans for everything that we'll do 'on the holidays', and reminding the kids of the real meaning of Christmas.
I LOVE this time of year!

This card is based on one from past Christmas workshops, but I've added some of the gorgeous red Glimmer Paper (p13 Summer Mini catalogue) and a Glimmer Brad. Nice and shiny in real life.
Happy stamping,
