CTC 74: Shine On
This week the CTC Crew are turning to pages 30 – 33 of the Occasions Catalogue for inspiration. This includes the gorgeous Shine On suite and some of our fabulous kits.
I have to say the Shine On Specialty Designer Series Paper is waaaaayyy better in real life. Heavier weight kraft paper and fabulous silver foil designs on one side of the paper. LOVE.
Inspired by the samples on page 30 of the Occasions Catalogue, I made a little card and gift box ensemble.
The gift box is made using the Curvy Keepsakes die. It’s a great size for holding jewellery or sweet treats.
The specialty paper is heavier than regular designer series paper so it’s perfect for boxes.
The matching card has some of the same foil specialty paper with a touch of Cucumber Crush and Real Red.
Here are some other cards I made recently with the Shine On paper, this time with Pool Party.
For more inspiration, continue on to see what Rebecca has in store for us this week. At any time you can also visit the CTC blog HERE.
Note: Next week there will be no CTC blog hop. We are having a week off because many of the crew will be attending the OnStage Events held simultaneously in various places around the world. There are two a year – one in April and and another in November, and are fun and informative Stampin’ Up! hosted events. We’re excited! The crew will be back on April 24.
Happy stamping,
They’re all great cards, the colours make them more interesting. I have to say though, I think the Pool Party glittery ribbon looks very special.
Fabulous.
Thanks for your tips the other day – the notepad was very handy. I meet some lovely people. It has been a learning curve for me 🙂
oooo, I love your card and gift box combo – it looks great together!! And the pool party cards look amazing with the foil design too! Thank you for the inspiration!!
