June IDEAS: Help Me Grow

Hello and welcome to the June IDEAS Tutorial Blog Hop. This month our theme is Colour Me Happy, and it is such a lovely one for sharing the brand new 2026–2028 In Colors.

For my project, I created a garden tools card featuring several of the new 2026-2028 In Colors™, including Crisp Cantaloupe, Hydrangea Hue, Peaceful Pine and Golden Glow. The card has a Gray Granite base, a soft woodgrain background from the Waterside Retreat Designer Series Paper, and a sweet collection of die-cut garden tools on the front.

I also decorated the inside of the card with a little flowerpot, which gives the card a lovely finished feel when it is opened.

The Help Me Grow Dies are such a fun set to play with. I used Lunar Lustre Specialty Paper for the metal parts of the garden tools, then added handles cut from the 2026–2028 In Color Painted Patterns Designer Series Paper. It is a simple way to bring in lots of colour without making the card feel too busy.
