OnStage Wrap Up – Brisbane 2016
Hi friends, Welcome to the recap of OnStage Brisbane.
If you’ve been following my Facebook page you’ll know that I recently spent a few days in Brisbane, Queensland, for the first ever OnStage Live event in the South Pacific region.
This was a fabulous opportunity for all the Stampin’ Up! demonstrators in the region to come together, along with corporate and training staff. It was similar to the Conventions that we used to have each year in Australia. But now Stampin’ Up! has gone global, so we hold these events somewhere in the world every 6 months.
Go Aussies! It was our chance to host the world. (The next event is in Amsterdam)
It was all about training, entertaining, inspiring, rewarding, plenty of free gifts and unveiling NEW products.
Wall to wall inspiration, with 600+ like-minded people. It’s as good as it gets. xxx
New catalogues unveiled
From the 1st of December demonstrators get the exciting opportunity to order new products from the yet-to-be-released Occasions Catalogue a month before it goes public. It was this catalogue that was unveiled to us in Brisbane.
Sale-a-bration 2017
Not only that, but we got our own copy of the upcoming Sale-a-bration brochure too!
Do you want to get these perks too? You can! More info here!
New to Stampin’ Up! and not sure what Sale-a-bration is?
Sale-a-bration (aka SAB) is the annual event where we all get to choose a FREE gift for every $90 we spend with Stampin’ Up!. And let me tell you, the gifts in the SAB brochure are GORGEOUS!
EurekaStampers Team, Stampin’ Up! Australia
Best of all, OnStage Brisbane 2016 was a fabulous opportunity for many members of our team to catch up in person.
Lots of hugs, laughs, giggles, gifts and sharing of ideas.
On the Friday night, we even had a team dinner with 40 of us all descending on a restaurant near the Night Market. The night included an ATC (Artist Trading Card) swap. It was so much fun, and I’m totally inspired by all the projects and techniques that were shared so generously by our team.

Stampin’ Up! Australia Top 10 Demonstrator Award
I was also thrilled (and more than a little bit shocked) to learn that I am in the Top 10 Stampin’ Up! demonstrators in Australia! Number 9, in fact.
This is a humbling award, because I’m so indebted to my amazing team, awesome customers and my family that help me do what I do.
Being a Top 10 performer, according to Stampin’ Up!, means that I have a balanced, high-performing business with regards to Sales, Leadership, and Building and Mentoring my team. I was honoured to earn awards in each of these categories as well as the Overall Top 10 category.
Craft & Family – A match made in heaven
As a mum of three kids, I know what it’s like to juggle a love of craft, while still keeping the family running, taking care of after-school activities, remembering to sign the school diary and trying to get a decent meal on the table each night. It never stops! But being part of the Stampin’ Up! community has been such a blessing to not only me but my family as well.
I truly know how important it is to have a creative outlet, and strongly encourage EVERYone to have some sort of hobby or outlet. Even if cardmaking is not your thing (shock horror), then find SOMEthing that will both inspire you and relax you. It’s so important!
My hubby is ever so supportive and is happy to turn a blind eye to my creative mess. He can frequently be found setting up for my cardmaking classes, cutting cardstock or ‘manning’ the Big Shot. When I get grumpy, he sends me off to my craft space and tells me to go and ‘make something’ (oh, he knows me well!).
Over the past 9 years he’s been to many Conventions and Stampin’ Up! events, although recently he has been busy at home with the kids and running around after them and their activities. This time, however, he joined me! It was fabulous, and he has come to know many of our team and fellow demonstrators from the Incentive Trips too, so it was fun for him to catch up with old friends. xxx
Stampin’ Up! teamwork – better together
Other highlights were watching some of my team members do amazing things, like presenting in front of 600+ people, being chosen to create projects for the display boards, earning Top 5 awards, doing stage walks for leadership and business awards. Nothing makes me happier than seeing my team succeed and reach their goals.
