YCCI: Symbols of Fortune

Published by under cards | Mar 03 2022

Hi friends, Today I’m sharing the latest YCCI (You Can Create It) project.

The latest You Can Create It packet

Each month our You Can Create It (YCCI) subscribers are given a packet of supplies – like cardstock, paper and embellishments – and the challenge is to turn those supplies into a completed project.

The February pack featured a couple of stunning panels from the Symbols of Fortune Designer Series Papers, cardstock panels in Soft Succulent and Crumb Cake, and a panel of the gorgeous Mother of Pearl specialty paper.

Participants could also use any of the cardstock sheets or other items from the “extra materials pack”. I added a little bit of Soft Succulent ribbon on mine too.

Design Team Projects

Once again the YCCI design team have truly outdone themselves with these fabulous projects.
Enjoy the inspiration!

Aren’t they amazing!

Cost for each quarter is AUD$25 (free pick up/local delivery or add $5 for postage) which gives you a packet of supplies for each of the three months. They will be sent all together and you can make them up at once or spread them out over the three months. Best of all, you’ll get to see and try brand new products. The next round is starting in April. Contact me today to reserve your pack.

Let’s create!

February IDEAS Tutorial: Artfully Composed Suite

Published by under cards | Feb 08 2022

This month the IDEAS Design Team focuses on the fabulous suites in both the annual and mini Stampin’ Up! catalogues. Suites are co-ordinated product lines – such as stamps, papers, dies, ribbons and embellishments – that are designed in the same theme and work together to create fantastic coordinated projects.

I chose the Artfully Composed suite to work with. I used it in recent weeks for our stamp club project (mainly using stamps and dies) but really wanted to see what we could make with the other products in the suite.

The collage above is a sneak peek of the projects the Design Team have contributed this month.

To get your hands on this file, simply place a $50+ order of Stampin’ Up! products with me during the month of FEBRUARY. This can be done through my online store, or by contacting me by email, by Facebook or phone. It’s also available for separate purchase and is provided to my team members for free in our team forum and also to my stamp club members. If you don’t get it, please reach out to me in case you were missed.

Once you have received the tutorials, please remember they are for your personal use only, so that means you can’t distribute any printed or electronic copies of these bundles.

I created 3 different projects using the Artfully Composed suite, and I can’t wait to share them with you in this month’s tutorial. I especially love the luminary made from the Layering Designs Vellum. Gorgeous!

You can have a look at a sneak peek of each of the designer’s projects by joining us on this blog hop. Click on the button below to check out the next great project by Janey Backer!

YCCI: Sweet Talk

Published by under cards | Feb 03 2022

Hi friends, Today I’m sharing the latest YCCI (You Can Create It) project. We recently kicked off a new round – this is the first of the January to March packs. It’s so fun to see what everyone makes with the same supplies.

The latest You Can Create It packet

Each month our You Can Create It (YCCI) subscribers are given a packet of supplies – like cardstock, paper and embellishments – and the challenge is to turn those supplies into a completed project.

The January pack featured 3 pretty papers from the Sweet Talk Designer Series Papers, cardstock panels in Granny Apple Green, Pool Party and Real Red, and an envelope.

Participants could also use any of the cardstock sheets or any other items from the “extra materials pack” but I challenged myself to make a card out of the 3 panels. And it worked!

I present to you, a Sweet Talk easel card!

Design Team Projects

Once again the YCCI design team have done an amazing job of converting these items to stunning projects. Enjoy the inspiration!

YCCI: Happy New Year

Published by under cards | Jan 02 2022

Happy New Year, friends! I hope this year brings you much peace, happiness and good health. Bring on 2022!

We have an exciting week ahead with Stampin’ Up! so you’ll see quite a few posts go up in the coming days.

Today I’m sharing the latest YCCI (You Can Create It) project and we are OPEN FOR REGISTRATION for the next round (scroll down for more info). And to top off the week, tomorrow we have a brand new catalogue and the launch of Sale-a-bration!

The latest You Can Create It packet

Each month our You Can Create It (YCCI) subscribers are given a packet of supplies – like cardstock, paper and embellishments – and the challenge is to turn those supplies into a completed project.

The December packet featured pretty papers, ribbon and a snowflake from the August-December mini catalogue. Remember you have until 11.50pm tonight (Monday 3rd Jan) to order retiring items from the Last Chance List.

For the challenge, subscribers can also add anything from the ‘extra materials’ packet or anything from their own supplies.

My card is based on one we did at a recent Stamp Club, but I’ve turn it into a ‘Just Saying Hello’ card. Perfect for New Years.

Design Team Projects

Once again the YCCI design team have done an amazing job of converting these items to stunning projects. Enjoy the inspiration!

Great news! January-March kits are now available!

Cost for each quarter is AUD$25 which gives you a packet of supplies for each of the three months. December IDEAS Tutorial: New Years Celebrations

Published by under cards | Dec 07 2021

Can you believe this year is almost over?! Crazy, I know. Although for some of us it may feel like this year has dragged on ever so slowly. Today I’m excited that we’re launching the December IDEAS Tutorial bundle.

This amazing tutorial bundle has been carefully curated just for you. It is filled with project ideas and inspiration… and all featuring different stamps and suites. The theme this month is New Years Celebration – so many fun and different ways we can welcome in 2022.

These tutorials were created by the IDEAS Design Team, a group of international crafters. Each contributor makes unique tutorials to help inspire you and to make your crafting easy and fun. You’ll find projects from each of the talented contributors within the pages of this tutorial bundle. We have notebooks, cards, treat packaging, calendars, organisers and more!

The collage above is a sneak peek of the projects the Design Team have contributed this month.

To get your hands on this file, simply place a $50+ order of Stampin’ Up! products with me during the month of DECEMBER. This can be done through my online store, or by contacting me by email, by Facebook or phone. It’s also available for separate purchase and is provided to my team members for free in our team forum and also to my stamp club members.

Once you have received the tutorials, please remember they are for your personal use only, so that means you can’t distribute any printed or electronic copies of these bundles.

This month I created a project detailed an interesting triangle fold card that one of my lovely stamp club members showed me. Thanks Mandy! It takes exactly half a sheet of cardstock to make this card so you can get 2 cards from a single sheet of cardstock. Love that. You could use this as a card or an interesting way to send an invitation… to a New Years Eve party maybe?
