Since Paper Pumpkin launched in Australia in April 2026, subscribers have been discovering all sorts of creative possibilities inside each monthly kit.
New to Paper Pumpkin? I’ll explain exactly what it is below. This page brings together alternative cards and projects made with the Australian kits, with the newest completed ideas first. I’ll keep adding to it each month, so you can return whenever you’re looking for fresh inspiration or simply want to see what all the fuss is about.
Each kit includes projects you can make exactly as designed, but the pieces can go much further. An envelope might become patterned paper, a card base might turn into a fancy fold, and sometimes even the box becomes part of a new project.

What is Paper Pumpkin?
Paper Pumpkin is Stampin’ Up!’s monthly papercrafting subscription.
Each month, subscribers receive a beautifully coordinated box with everything needed to complete that month’s projects, including pre-cut pieces, often an exclusive stamp set and ink spot, embellishments, adhesive and step-by-step instructions.
Your first kit also includes a clear acrylic block for using the stamps. Hang on to it, because you’ll use it again with future kits.
Every kit has a different theme and colour palette, so the projects change from month to month. And each month is a surprise!
There’s no need to plan a project from scratch or spend ages working out which colours and pieces go together. You can open the box, follow the instructions and start creating. Most kits include enough supplies to make 9 cards or the equivalent.

Why I love making Paper Pumpkin alternatives
One of my favourite things about Paper Pumpkin is that you don’t have to plan anything before you begin.
Everything in the box coordinates beautifully, so it’s a great option when you feel like crafting but don’t want to make lots of decisions.
I usually start by making at least one of each project exactly as shown. Then I look at the remaining pieces and start wondering what else I could make with them.
An envelope might become a patterned background. I might cut apart a card base and use it in a completely different way. Sometimes the pieces find their way onto a gift box, a fancy-fold card, tags or a small keepsake.
Creating these alternative projects has quickly become one of my favourite parts of receiving each kit.
I’ve teamed up with a small group of talented crafting friends, and each month we get creative with the latest kit. We make the projects as designed, then cut, fold, layer and repurpose the pieces to see what else they can become.
Together, we turn those ideas into a fresh tutorial collection for our subscribers every month. No two kits are the same, which is half the fun.

Hooray for Birthdays is the July 2026 Paper Pumpkin kit, featuring cheerful fun-fold birthday cards.
My alternative projects are currently underway and I’ll add them to the library soon.
June 2026: Bikes & Blooms
Bikes & Blooms was a cheerful floral kit featuring die-cut bicycles and plenty of pretty pieces to work with.
The large bicycle was one of my favourite elements from this kit, and I enjoyed finding lots of different ways to use it.

May 2026: Sparkling Celebrations
Sparkling Celebrations had a bright, all-occasion feel and worked beautifully for congratulations, celebrations, New Years and other happy occasions.
I’ll admit, I wasn’t too sure about this one at first, but once I started creating, the alternative ideas just kept coming. I especially loved turning the patterned envelopes into a mini album.

April 2026: Lakeside Retreat
Lakeside Retreat was Australia’s very first Paper Pumpkin kit and an instant hit.
It featured calm blues and greens, peaceful lakeside images and a lovely relaxed feel. A beautiful introduction to Paper Pumpkin for Australian subscribers!

It’s easy to get started
The projects are pre-designed and the pieces are already coordinated, so you don’t need to be an experienced stamper.
It’s a gentle way to build confidence with techniques such as stamping, layering, using adhesive and adding dimension.
You can make the projects as designed
You can follow the included instructions and enjoy the projects exactly as they were designed.
The alternative ideas are an optional extra for when you feel like trying something different.
It’s worth keeping the leftovers
Before tidying everything away, check what pieces remain.
Small die cuts, card scraps, embellishments and patterned envelopes can often be turned into tags, card backgrounds or extra projects.
Pay-as-you-go subscriptions are flexible
You can skip or cancel a pay-as-you-go subscription after your first kit ships. Make any changes through your Stampin’ Up! account before the monthly cut-off.
Timing matters
Make any subscription changes by the 10th of the month.
Pay-as-you-go subscriptions renew automatically on the 11th of each month.
If an upcoming kit particularly catches your eye, it’s worth subscribing before the cut-off rather than leaving it until the last moment.
Prepaid subscriptions are also available
Prepaid subscription options are available for three, six or twelve months if you prefer to pay in advance.
Subscribers can access extra products
Active subscribers may also be able to purchase coordinating add-ons, refills and selected past kits while stocks last.
Stampin’ Rewards are included
Pay-as-you-go subscribers earn Stampin’ Rewards on each kit.
Prepaid subscribers receive the rewards attached to their prepaid subscription at the time of purchase.

Active subscribers may be able to purchase selected past kits, refills and coordinating add-ons while stocks last. Refills are usually available to purchase on the 21st of each month. Availability will vary.
