Perfect Pairings Shaker Frame Card

CASE-ing the Catty Sunday Blog Hop

This week the CASE-ing The Catty crew are having some more Sale-a-bration fun. You may have come from Rebecca’s page, or you may be starting here. I hope you enjoy our little bit of weekend inspiration and that you are inspired to get crafty today too.

My inspiration this week came from the fun shaker frame card on page 10 of the SAB brochure. Gotta love a card you can shake AND it’s shiny with gold foil prints!

I use the same gold printed window sheet from the Project Life ‘Memories in the Making’ card collection, along with the Perfect Pairings stamp set.

But a few minor changes ended up making a very noticeable difference!

Here is what I ended up with:

CTC 70: Perfect Pairings shaker frame card.

I switched out the pastel Mint Macaron patterned paper for a striking black and white sheet from the Everyday Chic designer series paper stack.

I love the bold combination of black, white and gold. Definitely not my usual style… but that’s why I love these sorts of challenges. They really do get you out of your comfort zone and that is so good for soul!

Would you like to play along too? We’d love for you to join our linky challenge here. The CTC crew are tickled pink to visit and comment on entries, so jump on board.

Next stop on the hop is Jackie Noble. Enjoy!
