Poinsettia Place Fancy Fold: YCCI
Each month our You Can Create It (YCCI) subscribers are given a packet of supplies – like cardstock, paper and embellishments. The challenge is to turn those supplies into a completed project.
The November packet looked like this…
The packet included:
- a panel of Poinsettia Place patterned papers,
- 5 Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels
- Soft Suede cardstock
- Old Olive cardstock
- a panel of Brushed Metallic cardstock
For the challenge, anything from the ‘extra materials’ packet could also be added. This is what that pack looked like:
This month I was keen to replicate a fun fancy fold that a team member sent me recently (thanks Jacqueline!). It folds flat to mail, but when assembled it is a standing 3-dimensional card. This month’s packet was perfect for this card.
The flower was trimmed from the patterned paper, and the word ‘friend’ die cut from the beautiful brushed metallic paper and the foam adhesive sheets.
