Sale-A-Bration Halfway Happiness
What a day! Today marks the halfway point of Sale-a-bration 2016 (SAB) and also the release of 3 NEW free Sale-a-bration products (view them here). To celebrate, I’ve joined up with some of our Stampin’ Up! team members – the EurekaStampers – to share what we’re doing with all the lovely free SAB goodies.
You may have come here from Sarah’s I Heart Stamping page – if so, welcome! – or you may be starting here. Either way, I hope you enjoy what we’ve got to share with you today.
For my project, I chose the very popular Flowering Fields stamp set. So many of my customers have chosen this one as their free gift with a $90 purchase, so I thought I’d make up some more simple layouts that work with it and also the matching Wildflower Fields paper.
I only intended to make one card, but these coordinating products are so easy to work with that I got a little carried away and ended up making four!
Apart from a few extra embellishments, you only need two sheets of A4 cardstock and one sheet of patterned paper to make the foundation of these cards.
This stamp set doesn’t include any greetings, so I used the wonderful wooden Expressions Natural Elements. They stick quite well with just a few dots of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Best of all, you can dress them up by applying ink or even the gorgeous Wink of Stella brush-on glimmer.
Stella is sooooo hard to photograph – have you noticed? You can just kind of see it at the end of the wood where it catches the light.
I stamped on a panel of vellum on this card. The translucent cardstock vellum is from the Botanical Gardens Designer Vellum pack – also one of the free SAB offerings.
So there you have it from me! A ‘Flowering Fields’ celebration…
I hope you enjoy the rest of the hop. I’m so proud of all of the team members who are participating this week, as well as all the other EurekaStampers from right across Australia. I love Stampin’ Up! products, there’s no doubt about that, but it is the amazing people I’ve met through my involvement with ‘SU’ that has been quite simply life changing. If you have ever wanted to be part of a community of like-minded people, this may just be what you’re after too. #blessed
