Stampin’ Up! Last Chance: What’s New and What’s Leaving This August

The Stampin’ Up! specials have ticked over for August, and there’s a fair bit happening at once. To save you some time, I’ve been through it and pulled together the highlights in one place. Think of this as your Stampin’ Up! Last Chance and August specials cheat sheet: what’s new, what’s newly discounted, and what’s worth a look while you’re in the store.

One thing to know up front: Last Chance products are only available while supplies last, and in my experience the deepest discounts tend to go first. So if something below catches your eye, it’s worth deciding sooner rather than later.

What Are Last Chance Products?

Last Chance products are retiring Stampin’ Up! items, or items on low supply that won’t be restocked. Some are sold at a discount, others at original price. Either way, you know this is your last chance to order them.

New items are added to the category every other month and August is one of those months, so the list has just been refreshed. Discounts vary from around 10% right up to 50% off, and once an item sells out it leaves the range.

One I’d Take a Second Look At: The Virtual Card Making Retreat, Now Half Price

The 2026 Virtual Card Making Retreat kit has landed on the Last Chance list at $144.00, down from $288.00. At half price, this is a very interesting option, especially if you’ve ever loved the idea of a cardmaking retreat but the timing, travel, or cost put it out of reach.

Here’s what the AUD$144 actually covers:

• A supply kit with a stack of product: Designer Series Paper, Two-Tone Cardstock, two stamp sets, a set of dies, embellishments, Flip Flaps, envelopes, and Basic White Cardstock

If retreat-style training with your supplies sorted for you sounds appealing, this is the cheapest way I’ve seen to try it.

New in the Kits Collection

Two new kits have just arrived in the Kits Collection in August:

• Crafted Blooms Kit, $25.00
• Witchy Whimsy Hat Kit, $49.00

It’s interesting that neither of these are actually cardmaking kits – that’s different! Both are ‘off-the-page’ or 3D style kits.

Halloween is not such a big deal in my part of the world but there are definitely pockets of Australia that get behind it. The Crafted Blooms kit, however, is definitely my cup of tea! In the artwork they’ve put it on the Trio Clipboards (sold separately) but I could imagine them in frames, or on the covers of notebooks and journals, or cardstock mini albums. I can not wait to get my hands on that kit!

Considerations for Budget-Conscious Cardmakers

A few practical suggestions:

• Decide your Last Chance picks first. Stock is finite and the 50% items go quickest, so lock those in first.
• Combine everything into one order if you can. Last Chance items, sale paper, and the Product of the Month can all go in the same cart, which saves on postage and keeps your total visible.
• Buy the paper you’ll actually use. The 15% sale covers a lot of paper so pick the packs that suit the cards you make most.
