Sunflower Card | September IDEAS Tutorial Bundle

This month’s IDEAS Tutorial Bundle is all about Inspiration, and my contribution is a catalogue-inspired sunflower card featuring the beautiful Sunflower Fields Suite.

Inspiration can come from almost anywhere, but sometimes it’s waiting right there in the Stampin’ Up! catalogue.

For this project, I turned to page 42 of the brand new September–December 2026 Catalogue. It wasn’t the featured products that first caught my attention. It was the unusual layout, with Designer Series Paper covering the card front and an angled panel layered across the lower-right corner.

A closer look at my catalogue-inspired sunflower card

I recreated the catalogue layout using two contrasting designs from the Sunflower Fields Designer Series Paper, then added a cluster of layered sunflowers and leafy stems across the angled panel.

A stamped sentiment, gingham bow and Radiant Gems completed the card. You’ll find all the measurements and step-by-step instructions in the September IDEAS Tutorial Bundle. 

IDEAS Tutorial Bundle: Inspiration

This card is my project for the September 2026 IDEAS Tutorial Bundle.

Each month, Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world contribute an original project to the IDEAS Tutorial Bundle. Every project comes with detailed instructions and photographs so you can recreate it at home.

This month, each member of the IDEAS Design Team has created a project inspired by something that caught their attention. You’ll find ideas drawn from catalogue samples, colour combinations, layouts and more.
