Recently my husband’s nephew married his beautiful bride.
The wedding was in England, and unfortunately we couldn’t leave Australia to go back over to celebrate with them because we’d only just returned from the Incentive Trip. But we did get a chance to catch up with them while we were over on that side of the world, which was a lovely bonus.
I wanted to make a special card for them, so pulled out the bling.

Yes, there is even a layer of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper underneath the Acetate sheet!
(Shiny and sparkly and shimmery… but really hard to photograph!)
I don’t get the opportunity to make many wedding cards these days, so this was a special one and definitely made with love.
The “Wedding Wishes” sentiment on the front, and the lovely message on the inside, were both from the stamp set.
I love that the bride and groom made their own gorgeous and unique invitations.
My hubby and I are celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary this year, hard to believe really but the years do tick away. I wish I had been into cardmaking a bit more back then, I would definitely have made our invitations.
This year Stampin’ Up! are celebrating 10 years in Australia, so thankfully our Aussie brides have a lot more options than were available to me 20 years ago.
