French Foliage
We had a fabulous evening on Friday at our 'All Occasions Stamp-a-stack'. It was a lovely group of ladies who shared some giggles and an inky night as we stamped and punched and did all sorts of fun stuff.
Everyone made 8 cards, including a couple of these.
Little difficult to see in the photos, but we stamped images from French Foliage (p69 Idea Book & Catalogue) collage-style in Versamark, Crumb Cake and Soft Suede inks. A little tearing and layering, and finally some misting with homemade shimmer mist (made from rubbing alcohol and Champagne Shimmer Paint mixed well in a fine mister bottle), finished them off nicely.
We had a few bright cards, kids cards and floral cards on the night, so it was nice to throw something a little more muted into the mix. Some of the ladies used this as a Sympathy card or male birthday cards.
Can't believe February is almost over! That means we're one sixth of the way through 2012 already. I know!
