The Tardis

Published by under 3D projects,cards,general chat | May 04 2010

Hi everyone. It's great to be back on the 'puter and blogging again. I've been stuck in my own little time warp after being knocked for a six with a v-e-r-y nasty chest infection. I actually spent 2 days in bed! But on the mend now and itching to get all inky again.

I've got heaps of great projects to share in the coming days and weeks, but thought for now I'd quickly show you this card I made for my brother-in-law's birthday, yes a big Doctor Who fan. I actually went googling for ideas and low-and-behold stumbled upon this card that the amazingly talented Valita designed. Valita recently joined up as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator under one of the girls in my group, so I'm very proud to say she is in my team now! It really is a small world, isn't it?

I'm having a bit of trouble getting used to Matt Smith as the new Doctor. What do you think? Time will tell, I guess 😉

Happy stamping,

Simone, this card is awesome. I also stumbled upon this card not long ago and agree with you that Valita is very talented. Thanks for sharing the link. Cheers Donna Zammit

Wow! My kids call me the "google queen" … but I think you deserve the crown! It is amazing what you can find online … if you just take the time to look! Unfortunately … one blog leads to another … leads to another … and if you are like me you end up with 14 blogs that you have subscribed to get posts updates … and another 14 on your favourites toolbar (that don't have sub options) … that you try and visit each day!!! A full time job keeping up with these FAB blogs with so many gorgeous ideas. Great great card, Simone. Definitely bookmarking this one! Hugs xxAxx

Oh my, this is just FAB!  I'm anxiously awaiting the new season of Dr. Who.  They're showing all of series 5 today on BBC America.  I wasn't so sure I'd like Matt Smith as the doctor after David Tennant, but I really do!  LOVE the Big Bang episode, have watched it a ton of times after finding it online.  Thanks to the post back to Valita's site – I've visited her site before and have now bookmarked yours!
