You Can Create It – International: August 2019 Kit

Published by under cards | Sep 02 2019

Here we are in September. A new month means we have new projects to share with you from the You Can Create It design team, all made from the August kit contents.

This is my 2nd month with the team, and I have to say I’m loving the challenge!
Also, I’m happy to say I’ve now officially opened registrations so you can get these kits too. More info below.

The August kit included:

  • a Thick Whisper White card base
  • Silver Foil paper
  • two pieces of Come Sail Away designer series paper
  • and a generous 80cm length of bakers twine in Sahara Sand/Night of Navy.

Extra supplies included in the quarterly kit were a couple of A4 sheets of Soft Suede cardstock (some of which I used in this project), a copper dotted treat bag, a sheet of ‘Fluid 100′ watercolour paper and a full bottle of Stampin’ Mist stamp cleaner.

REGISTER NOW for the October – December kits, delivered to your door.
Scroll down for more information on how to register at the special ‘Foundation’ price! Australian residents only.

Every month a little packet of papercraft supplies becomes the basis of our challenge. Our mission is to turn those elements into a card, or gift packaging, or some other finished project.

This is what I made with my supplies.

A little bit of die cutting and stamping added some interesting elements.

It’s a little difficult to see in the photo, but the stitched frame has been die cut from the Silver Foil paper, and a narrow 1cm strip of silver paper is underneath the bakers twine.

Design Team Projects

On the 2nd of each month the design team share what they created with these same supplies. So many gorgeous ideas! Check out their creations below and to learn more about the project just click on the creator’s name.
