This month the IDEAS Design Team are looking at the fantastic Online Exclusives that are available with Stampin’ Up!. The name “Online Exclusives” doesn’t mean you can only buy them online, just that the products are not shown in the latest catalogues . They are exclusively shown online!

You can still order them through me (if you are in Australia and choose to shop with me) in the usual ways, or from your own demonstrator if you live outside of Australia.

I’m a big fan of these products, as they are often really interesting and unique product, and best of all we don’t have to wait until the next catalogue comes out to get them! Yes, I’m a little impatient at times 🙂

The collage above is a sneak peek of the projects the Design Team have contributed this month.

This month the Online Exclusive product that I focused on is the incredible Changing Leaves bundle. It includes my #1 favourite item which is a hybrid embossing folder with coordinating dies!

By using the dies and 3D embossing folder at the same time you can cut and emboss with a single pass through your machine! Soooo clever.

You can also use the embossing folder on its own, without the dies.

My tutorial includes the instructions to make this project plus four other cards for inspiration.

Each month we are treated to new all-inclusive kits by Stampin’ Up!, and they are absolutely gorgeous!

Even though I’ve been crafting for many years, I still love to get these each month – it’s like a gift in the mail with everything you need to complete the projects all contained in the box… even the adhesives.

Some of the kits include inks and stamps, and others have pre-printed sentiments, but often I’ll change the greetings to fit my needs.

You can also be creative with these kits if you don’t want to follow exactly how they have been designed. The card bases are often printed on the front and back, so sometimes I’ll cut them in half and mount them on co-ordinating cardstock that I already have and that way the supplies go even further! The prices are brilliant too, with most of them being between AUD$25 and $41.

THE SCENIC ROUTE TRAVEL JOURNAL KIT

Such a fun project to remember your holiday, or prepare it in advance and take it with you to record your journey. I love that there are little pockets and extra flaps where you can store ticket stubs or photos.

Watch the video here, but keep in mind it’s pretty fast paced so if you are creating along you’ll want to pause and create as you go (that’s what I did!). The kit can be found in my online store here.
