It has been created by the IDEAS Design Team – a collective of international demonstrators – who each create unique tutorials to help inspire you and to make your crafting easy and fun.

November Theme
This month our tutorials all focus on the theme of FAMILY CELEBRATIONS, and includes everything from birthday, Christmas, holiday, New Year, new babies and more.
Each tutorial includes both a card and a 3-dimensional project, with full instructions in both imperial and metric measurements.
Gnome For The Holidays
For my projects I chose the delightful GNOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS stamp set.
Although it is listed as a Christmas stamp set, I’ve used it today for a birthday celebration.
Here is a closer look at the 3D item which is a BAGALOPE. You’ll learn exactly how to make them in the November IDEAS tutorials bundle.

Today (3rd November) we have new products released – check back later this morning for all the news regarding these exciting new products. Can’t wait? Click here and here.
Welcome to this week’s project for The Spot Creative Challenge. This week we have another fabulous colour challenge.
Now this is definitely not a colour pallette that I’ve ever used together before. Love doing challenges for this very reason! I love love love the way it all came together….
How fun!
This card features the adorable Gnome for the Holidays stamp set.
The challenge colours of Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie and Pretty Peacock were introduced by way of Stampin’ Blends and cardstock.
This curvy dies are a sneak peek of an upcoming product that will be released next month. Stay tuned for more info about those.
About THE SPOT CREATIVE CHALLENGE:
Each week our Design Team of international creatives share projects based on a new challenge. It could be a theme, a technique, a sketch challenge or – as it is in this week – a colour challenge.
Each Tuesday at 9pm (Syd/Mel time) you’ll see a new challenge post on the challenge website (click to visit). You can play along, and if you want you can even enter your card in the weekly challenge by uploading your project (and you don’t even need a blog!). A winner will be chosen each week.
Your Challenge
So now it’s your turn. Use the sketch that you see at the top of this post, and use it as inspiration for a project of your own. You don’t have to follow it exactly – for example, feel free to change the heart to a different shape like I did in this card. When you’re finished, jump over to The Spot and upload a photo of your project. Have fun!

This month our tutorials all focus on the various Suites in the August-October mini catalogue. Suites are themed product lines, and generally includes stamps with matching punches or dies, plus coordinating accessories. There are 8 different suites in the mini catalogue.
Each tutorial includes both a card and a 3-dimensional project, with full instructions in both imperial and metric measurements.
Trimming The Town
For my projects I chose the delightful TRIMMING THE TOWN suite.
I absolutely adore this suite, and have used it already here in a similar project.

Each month our You Can Create It (YCCI) subscribers are given a packet of supplies – like cardstock, paper and embellishments. The challenge is to turn those supplies into a completed project.
OPEN NOW: Secure one of the limited Oct-Dec ‘You Can Create It’ Packets. Cost is $25 and includes delivery to anywhere in Australia. Register by October 14th (may close earlier if all kits sell out). Contact Simone to reserve yours.
For the challenge, anything from the ‘extra materials’ packet could also be added.
This month it was a big challenge for me, but eventually I settled for this project…
I’ve been making lots of split-panel cards lately, and this is a modification of the same concept.
Design Team Projects
Once again the Design Team have outdone themselves with amazing projects using the same supplies from the Sept YCCI pack. The designs on the In Good Taste differ of course – it’s such a versatile pack.
Did you know there’s a awesome sale on patterned paper this month? Check it out here.

Welcome to this week’s project for The Spot Creative Challenge. This week we have another fabulous sketch challenge.
I always think sketch challenges are brilliant for if you ever find yourself stuck for inspiration. Sometimes a new layout is just enough to get you started on a new project.
This is where I went with the sketch…
A nice simple one this week. It features the Wrapped in Christmas stamp set (sentiment stamped in Real Red), the lovely Tis the Season paper pack and the feature die cut is from the Sweetest Borders dies.
