Another year has come and gone, so I’d love to take this opportunity to wish you are very happy new year! I hope 2025 brings all that you hope for.
I’m at the beach at the moment with family, with friends visiting at various times, as we enjoy the beautiful summer and lovely beach walks. The second half of 2024 was a little crazy to say the least, so it’s just so nice to take a break from normal routines.
As we are looking forward to the new year, it’s also a good time to reflect on the past. So here are some of our favourite projects (going by visits, pins and share) during 2024!
I hope you are enjoying some craft time or at least some relaxing time this week.
We won’t have long to wait for new products. The new January – June Mini Catalogue will be going live on the 7th January, along with Sale-a-bration 2025! On top of that we’ll have new Online Exclusives and a new downloadable Scrapbooking Brochure!
Here’s to another year of creativity and fun… thanks for being part of it.
The design team are celebrating a massive 500 challenges (yes, it really has being going for 500 weeks!), and I’m joining in today as one of the past members of the design team. The CTC challenge had a huge influence on me, and I am truly grateful that I was part of this special team. This weekly challenge helped me learn so much about paper crafting (and blogging!), and the design team are an incredibly talented and truly lovely group of creators. Jump over to the CTC Facebook group and follow along to see all the future fab creations from the crew.
If you aren’t familiar with the concept of ‘CASE-ing’…. CASE stands for Copy and Selectively Edit (sometimes referred to as Copy And Share Everything), and the idea is that we look at the amazing Stampin’ Up! catalogues (aka ‘catty’) for inspiration.
The catalogues are truly an incredible resource. Even now, if I need a spark of ideas I will turn to the catalogues and re-create one of the projects there. Often it gives me just the kick-start I need, and then I can add my own touch to the project.
That’s exactly what happened with this project!
I was inspired by the card on page 107 featuring the Perennial Lavender papers and Perennial Postage dies, along with the Painted Lavender dies. These products appeared in a catalogue last year but are still available in the Online Store, and I must admit I haven’t used them for a little while. The sentiment is from the Changing Leaves stamp set, and is a special message from me to the CTC Sunday Challenge and all the crew!
This is what the card looks like in the catalogue…
I jiggled the layout a bit, and changed the proportions, but you can see where the inspiration came from.
Would you like to have a go at this week’s challenge? To join in, all you have to do is make a project inspired by any project in the ANNUAL CATALOGUE or MINI CATALOGUE. Then simply take a photo of your project and upload it to the CASEing The Catty Challenge group on Facebook. Each challenge will end on the Saturday before the next challenge is posted. The design crew will pick some winners but most importantly it’s a fun way to get out of your creative comfort zone and try something new.

This month the IDEAS Design Team has a fun theme called “We’re cut out to be friends”, featuring anything you cut out including dies, punches or even fussy cutting!
The collage above is a sneak peek of the projects the Design Team have contributed this month.
This month I used the Humble Home Builder punch to create a card that could be used for someone new to the neighbourhood, or even someone who has moved into a new home!
In the tutorial bundle there are a stack of tutorials, with inspiration to keep you crafting all month long.
To get your hands on this file of tutorials, including the projects shown here plus all the tutorials from the Design Team, simply place a $50+ order of Stampin’ Up! products with me during the month of December 2024. This can be done through my online store, or by contacting me by email, by Facebook or phone. It is also available for separate purchase and is provided to my team members for free in our team forum and also to my stamp club members. Once you have received the tutorials, please remember they are for your personal use only, so that means you can’t distribute any printed or electronic copies of these bundles. CONTACT ME to order your tutorials.

Have you seen the amazing bargains on the new Last Chance Products category in the online store? This replaces what used to be the Last Chance List and also the Clearance Rack. So now you can go to one place to find all the products that have almost run out… and pick up an amazing bargain or 3! I couldn’t believe how many products were under $5 (hint: you can sort the products by $ value if you prefer, from low to high). Check it out here
