Soft furnishings, hat embellishments, polar fleece blanket embellishments and even paper strawberries. What do these have in common?

Paper Strawberries. Click here for a tutorial.
Ok, so the title of this post gave it away. lol.
They were all made or embellished with the Flower Folds die!
At our recent EurekaStampers team day, Lorinda deRegt-Penn from Bacchus Marsh, Vic. did a very cool presentation that was right up my alley. She reminded us that the fabulous steel ruled Sizzix dies, from Stampin' Up!, are not just for paper and cardmaking/scrapbooking! I love the brooches and hat embellishments and the polar fleece blanket that were also decorated with the help of the Big Shot.
A big hello to all the lovely people who stopped by our stand at the Craft & Quilt Show this weekend in Melbourne. It's been great to see so many familiar faces and of course meet new crafters too. If you've got a spare minute I'd love you to drop me a line or leave a comment below to say hello.
Happy stamping,

Last weekend a contingent of stampers brightened my rainy hometown in regional Victoria, for our biannual EurekaStampers Team Stamping Day.
And it was a fabulous day!

It's always exciting when you get together with other like-minded people, so there was plenty of chatting and sharing of ideas, lots of 'ooohs' and 'aaaahs' were overheard, and plenty of laughter. And I'm still in awe of the amazing talent we had all in one room.
And of course there was lots of yummy food too!
We started the morning with swapping card samples, and an opportunity to have a cuppa as some of the girls had driven for many hours – including interstaters.
During the opening session we did some introductions and some of our demonstrators shared their stories. Others got up on stage and generously shared their talent with us (you'll see more about that over the coming days). And after lunch we all made 4 projects using brand new stamp sets from the upcoming Idea Book & Catalogue. Soooo exciting!
We had a tool table set up so some of our newer demonstrators could have a go at spritzing and wheeling and setting eyelets and crimping.
And we also had a super-long table set up with every colour marker and ink pad and square of cardstock so we could make our own colour charts.
Check back over the coming days for highlights and pictures that will inspire.
And to all those who came on Sunday: thanks for being part of our group, for your positivity and enthusiasm and for following Stampin' Up!'s Statement of the Heart as we love what we do and share what we love.

Happy stamping,

Welcome back for our second July stamp club project.
Another based on the reflection technique, this one is a CASE from the fabulous Amy Celona.
Thanks for the inspiration Amy.

Of course we don't get snow here at Christmastime but it IS winter at the moment and MIGHTY cold where we live! Brrrrrr.
This card uses Lovely as a Tree, Welcome Christmas and Heard from the Heart stamp sets.
Unlike the Reflection Technique card I posted the other day, this one uses Glossy Cardstock so looks oh so shiny. We couldn't use the shimmer paint spritz on this one but instead BLINGed it up with Dazzling Diamonds glitter in the trees.
Will be back soon with some of the highlights from our big biannual team day. So exciting.
Stay warm, and happy stamping.

p.s. And safe journey to all those from the EurekaStampers travelling to my hometown for our team day this weekend. See you soon.
