Today's share was one of our July Stamp Club projects. By request: the Reflection Technique.
The Nature Walk set from the Autumn-Winter Mini Catalogue was perfect for this technique.
Isn't it fun what a little bit of masking, some torn paper and sponging can do?
Try This:
Use Whisper White cardstock as your base.
Spritz the 'water' with Champagne Shimmer Paint mixed with Isocol (alcohol).
Make sure the rest of the card is protected with a mask so only the water gets spritzed.
End Result: Shimmery light reflections on the water.
Very cool.
Don't forget there's only 10 days left before we say goodbye to the Mini.

At Stamp Club we also got into the Christmas In July spirit but I'll share that card next time.

The ribbon & button giveaway this month is proving to be popular. Such fun bright colours, the perfect antidote for these cold and bleak wintry days.
Don't need quite enough supplies this month for a $100 order?
Why not collect some orders from friends.
With nearly 14 METRES of ribbon and 48 buttons,
there's plenty to share around.

We're into the final week of the winter school holidays here, and have enjoyed the leisurely days and sleep-ins.
Little Miss 7 has been begging me to learn to sew with the machine for ages, so this seemed like as good a time as any. I honestly thought she'd sew a few lines and that would be it, but she filled up her practice panel in no time and wanted more!
By the afternoon she'd already made a cushion and even slip stitched it shut after pushing in the soft stuff.

And then went back and made another one for Little Miss 4, who of course thinks her big sister is now a hero.

Gotta love the school holidays. Have a great week, and….
Happy stamping,

Sob. Sob. The time has come.
For the first time EVER I'm selling my excess stamp sets here on my blog. (Although, really, can anybody actually have too many stamp sets?? hehehe)
The truth of the matter is…
I'm running out of space!
The new Australian Stampin' Up! catalogue will be released on the 1st of September and if I don't clean out now I won't have anywhere to put all my new goodies. Unless I get rid of one of the kids.
Only joking. Kind of.
Many of the sets were from the 2008 and 2009 catalogues, with some a little more recent.
You can check out all the Retired Stampin' Up! sets for sale HERE.
Happy stamping,
